Hoping to keep finding interesting lyrics for every journal. I like it this way. I have an affinity for words, writing, breaking a blank white page. I think my mind is all over the place at the moment. The "SPLAT" kind of all over the place, hard to pull back together. Thinking of the future, summer, money, leaving, if I'm so fortunate. Of friends, loves, emotions, the past, the present. Andy Warhol, because he interests me and because I'm writing an essay on him. Fantasy worlds, spirituality and the elements. Really caught up on what things will be like if I go to Calgary, being entirely alone, somewhere where I know noone. The fears and freedoms that come with anonymity. I'm worried about the upcoming scholarship applications for the GPRC fine arts departments, fairly convinced I'm a write off already since most of my stuff will be photos of things that are in Calgary.

I guess I'm dwelling on the reasons why we do things like go to school, learn, try things, love knowledge, when I'm done it will have been 6 years for a 4 year education. I know I'm not choosing this to simply fit into a machine and system (see lyrics below if you're facing some confusion)I'd hate for that to be my motivation. I do recognize the system and don't want the fight it'd take to defy it. Just want life, life art, companionship, loves, intimacy. Pleasures. Does seeing the system blur these things, happiness and pleasure? Pleasure is an option isn't it, that's how I can always be happy, choosing happiness...

Just going on about nothing, I like the junk that runs through my head. so much so that I might be a little narcissistic about it.
